About

Rebecca Asquith is the founder of The Joy Leadership Studio and Fir Haven Guest House & Nordic Spa, a forest-based retreat and wellness experience in Northern British Columbia designed to help people gather, rest, reconnect, and return to joy.

With a background in executive leadership, entrepreneurship, hospitality, and business strategy, Rebecca brings a grounded and deeply human approach to leadership development and personal growth. Her work bridges inner alignment with real-world action—supporting entrepreneurs, high-functioning leaders, and teams who are seeking more sustainable, intentional ways to lead, build, and live.

At the heart of Rebecca’s work is the belief that joy is not something we achieve outside of ourselves, but something we reconnect to within ourselves. Through The Joy Method, reflective facilitation, nervous system awareness, leadership conversations, and immersive wellness experiences, she creates spaces where people can pause long enough to hear what their body, emotions, and inner world may be trying to communicate.

Rebecca is especially passionate about the joy found in shared experiences—the kind of meaningful connection that happens when people gather with intention, authenticity, and presence. This philosophy is woven deeply into Fir Haven, where retreats, leadership circles, workshops, and Nordic spa experiences invite people to slow down, reconnect with themselves and each other, and remember what truly matters.

A unique part of Rebecca’s work is integrating Nordic contrast therapy as a physical embodiment of the Joy Method itself. The heat, cold, discomfort, breath, and regulation required during contrast cycles mirror the process of navigating life, leadership, and change. The body becomes both the messenger and the teacher.

Through retreats, Joy Leadership Circles, speaking engagements, and strategic advising, Rebecca helps leaders cultivate lives, businesses, and workplace cultures where people feel safe to bring their whole selves to the table—because sustainable leadership should never require self-abandonment.
