Connect, Create, And Play: Your Summer Bucket List

joy + mindfulness

Summer is the perfect time to check in with how you’re feeling and take the opportunity to set powerful intentions. What do you most want to experience this summer?

Summer is a season that encourages us to step outside, explore, and engage with the world around us. This summer, join me in making a conscious effort to have fun and live each moment to the fullest.

Here are some ways to harness summer energy and invite in FUN:

  1. Connect with Nature: Whether it's a beach day, a hike in the mountains, or a picnic in the park, spending time in nature rejuvenates our spirit. Notice the colors, the scents, and the sounds around you. Let the beauty of nature fill you with a sense of wonder and peace.
  2. Engage in Play: Allow yourself to rediscover the Joy of play. It could be a game of frisbee (which I’m horrible at btw), a round of mini-golf, or maybe flying a kite (which I’ve also never been good at LOL). Playfulness is a wonderful way to bring lightness into our lives and embrace summer energy.
  3. Cultivate Creativity: Summer's vibrant energy is perfect for exploring your creative side. Try your hand at painting, gardening, writing, (or any other creative activity that brings you Joy)
  4. Enjoy Simple Pleasures: Sometimes, the greatest Joys come from the simplest activities. Enjoy an ice cream cone (remember space pops?!), watch a sunset, or take an early morning walk with a friend. Simple pleasures can be deeply fulfilling and remind us to appreciate the little things in life.
  5. Connect with Loved Ones: Summer is an ideal time to strengthen connections with family and friends. Host a barbecue, plan a reunion, or simply spend quality time together. I’m calling in a game of backyard scrabble (wild I know:) Whatever floats your boat, let’s create great memories this summer.

Do any of these feel fun for you?

Wishing you all a season of abundant fun and ….JOY!
