Savouring The Final Spark Of Summer

joy + mindfulness

We’re in the final days of August—the last spark of summer before the air turns crisp and the sweaters come out. The air is shifting, the light is golden, and this is the time to savour what’s left.

Being Over Doing

This week, I’ve been leaning into being over doing. Walks. Golden sunsets. That smell in the air that tells you summer is still here, but just beginning to change. It’s easy to rush through these days, but what if Joy is found in slowing down—sipping coffee in the morning sun, lingering over a picnic dinner, or simply noticing the colours in the sky?

Here’s a question for you:
What are the things you’ll miss when the weather changes?

And another:
What’s something you’ve been meaning to do this summer… that you still have time to enjoy?

Let’s Honour These Days

These final golden days are a chance to honour summer by being fully present for it. Let Joy be in the lingering, the slowing down, and the noticing.
