When Something Is No Longer Aligned
Discomfort isn’t always a sign that something is wrong. Sometimes it’s a sign you are growing.
This week I’ve been sitting with something I do not hear talked about enough in leadership, growth, or even aligned living.
The discomfort that arrives when we realize something is no longer aligned.
Not because it failed.
Not because it was wrong.
But because we have grown, clarified, or evolved beyond what once fit.
This kind of discomfort is quiet. Subtle. And deeply honest.
And if you are someone who leads, holds space, or cares deeply about the people you serve, this discomfort can feel especially tender.
True Alignment Requires Honesty
Alignment is not passive. It asks something of us.
It asks us to tell the truth before misalignment turns into resentment.
It asks us to notice what feels heavy instead of pretending it is fine.
It asks us to choose integrity over convenience.
This is one of the quiet responsibilities of leadership.
Honesty often comes with disappointment. Sometimes from others. Sometimes from ourselves. And yet, avoiding that honesty costs us far more in the long run.
Because what we do not release with care eventually demands our attention in louder, more painful ways.
The Courage to Let Something Complete
There is a powerful difference between quitting and completing.
Completion is an act of respect. It honours what something was, what it gave, and what it made possible. It also creates space for what is next to be tended with intention instead of obligation.
Completion is not failure. It is discernment.
In that spirit, I want to share something openly with you.
An Update From My Heart
Last week, I shared that this season of the private Joy Club Facebook group is coming to a close.
This decision was not rushed. It was made slowly, thoughtfully, and with a deep commitment to leading in a way that is sustainable, energy-honouring, and aligned with how my work is evolving.
The Joy Club was meaningful. It mattered. And it served a purpose in its season.
And now, something more intentional is asking to take its place.
An Invitation Into The Joy Nest
For those who feel called into a deeper, more lived and embodied practice of Joy, I am inviting you into The Joy Nest.
The Joy Nest is where I will be guiding the work going forward in a more grounded, supportive, and intentional way.
The Joy Nest is your soft place to land.

Whether this is your starting point, your steady rhythm, or a nourishing pause between leaps, you are welcome here.
A Thank You and a Gift
As a thank you to those who have been part of the Joy Club chapter, I am offering 50 percent off your first month using code NEST50.
This Is Not an Ending
This is not an ending. It is an evolution. And a continued commitment to lead, create, and serve from integrity and overflow.
If you’re feeling that familiar nudge that something in your life or leadership is ready to shift, let this be your reminder.
Discomfort does not mean you are off track.
It often means you are standing at the edge of alignment.
And if you are craving a space to walk that edge with support, intention, and a whole lot of grounded Joy, I would love to welcome you into The Joy Nest.
Here, Joy is not just a feeling.
It is a way of living.
