We had a really powerful Joy Nest group call recently where we talked about what to do when the shit hits the fan. Because there are times when our world (and the world) feels chaotic, intense, or dark… and it can feel difficult to stay connected to yourself without either shutting down or taking on more than is yours to carry.

Energy is EVERYTHING. Honouring our energy greatly contributes to the energy in the world. Peace in the world is supported when we nurture peace within ourselves.
This might look like turning down the volume on the news.
It might look like returning to your daily Joy practices.
It might look like creating small pockets of quiet where your system can reset.
It might look like focusing on the blessings to raise your vibration.
It might look like choosing to feel resourced before responding to anything else.
When you tend to your energy first, something shifts.
From that place, compassion flows more naturally.
From that place, prayer and meditation come from overflow.
From that place, you can offer help without losing yourself.
We don’t serve the world by sacrificing our well-being.
We serve it by staying connected to our hearts and our energy.
